Gavin D’EliaGavin forges partnerships in space to unlock breakthroughs for Earth. By leveraging microgravity’s unique effects, new innovations result. These endeavors span multiple verticals, from accelerated disease modeling to improved structural biology to translatable health technologies. Gavin leads the planning, design, and partnership from inception to commercialization. Gavin also supports the orbital data center program at Axiom Space. Orbitals data centers are emerging as critical storage back up, remote network for digital sovereignty, and constellations for edge processing of satellite imagery and bulk data sets generated in orbit.

Prior to joining Axiom, Gavin served as Senior Associate at BioMarin, a global rare disease company dedicated to transforming patient lives through genetic discovery, where he helped managed product strategy and business operations across the $2B portfolio. Gavin’s educational background is in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
