I-Chi Lee is a Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Environmental Sciences, National Tsing Hua University, and currently serves as Vice President of the Biomaterials and Controlled Release Society (BCRS), Taiwan. Prof. Lee’s research focuses on biomaterials, tissue engineering, drug delivery and organ on chip, with over 60 peer-reviewed publications and two books. Her work has earned multiple awards, including the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award from the National Science Council. Her current studies involve neural stem cell regulation, microneedle-based therapy, and organ-on-chip models such as brain-on-chip and disease model, aiming to advance precision medicine and reduce animal testing through in vitro disease platforms.
