Laura Pėkienė

National Contact Point and Expert in SPC Working Group for the EU Mission on Cancer. With an accomplished 20-year project management and independent project evaluator at ESFA and Department of Youth Affairs experience she has been working closely with local and international researchers and stakeholders from public sector, SMEs and local businesses, municipalities and local communities in promoting R&D on national and international level. Her R&D experience includes H2020 and HE project initiation and management while collaborating with academic and business organizations from EU, UK, US, Israel, Switzerland etc.; organizing international Lithuanian and Baltic scientist’ collaboration events in France, Germany and Belgium. Her academic involvement incorporates Legal basics, Intellectual property and Patient safety courses at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences as well as PhD studies in digital health management at Kaunas University of Technology.
