Kiwon Lee, PhD

Dr. Kiwon Lee is the Founder and CEO/CTO of Ybrain Inc., a medical technology company specializing in neuroscience. Leading a multidisciplinary team of over 50 researchers, including master’s- and doctoral-level experts in neuroscience, materials science, biomedical engineering, and computer science, Dr. Lee has pioneered the development of novel, non-invasive brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). These innovations encompass at-home treatment devices for neuropsychiatric conditions, as well as diagnostic and monitoring solutions for clinical and mobility applications. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Lee has received multiple Minister’s Awards from ministries including the Ministry of Trade, Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Science, Technology and ICT, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
