Justinas Balčiūnas, MD, is the COO of Ligence, a medical AI startup transforming cardiac ultrasound analysis with automation and precision. He has a background in healthtech, AI integration, and regulatory strategy, leading Ligence’s U.S. expansion, partnerships, and FDA clearance efforts. Before Ligence, Justinas worked at Bayer AG, where he supported digital health startups and evaluated business opportunities in the cardiovascular space. Justinas is passionate about exploring the intersection of AI, somatic, and mental health.
