Dr. Yuchi Wang

Director of the Biomedical Technology and Device Research Laboratories of ITRI I Taiwan

Dr. Yuchi Wang is the Director of the Biomedical Technology and Device Research Laboratories of ITRI. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University and completed her postdoctoral research at the University of Cincinnati. Her professional experience spans leadership roles at ITRI as well as R&D positions in Cytoptics Corporation and Biotechplex Corporation in San Diego, California, for over twelve years. Dr. Wang has earned multiple prestigious honors, including the Edison Gold Awards (2025), Silver Award (2024), three National Innovation Awards, and two National Progress Awards. Her work focuses on advancing regenerative medicine technologies with a significant impact in both industry and academia.
