Dr. Rita Bandariavičiūtė

Dr. Rita Bandariavičiūtė is a Senior Field Application Scientist at Linea Libera, where she leads the integration of advanced genomic technologies into biomedical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic workflows. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Research, with a specialization in molecular biology and genetic analysis. 

With over a decade of practical experience, Dr. Bandariavičiūtė has become a trusted advisor in the application of molecular techniques—bridging scientific innovation with real-world implementation. Her work focuses on empowering laboratories with scalable solutions for high-sensitivity detection, precision diagnostics, and personalized medicine. 

Her current areas of interest include: 

• Digital PCR (dPCR) for rare mutation detection and ultra-sensitive analysis; 

• Applications of next-generation sequencing (NGS) in oncology, microbiome profiling, IVF and much more; 

• The role of qPCR in AI-driven diagnostics; 

• Chromosomal aberration and population-scale variant analysis using microarray platforms.
