Dr. Dalius Ratautas is CSO at SensoLife and a Senior Research Associate at the Life Sciences Center, Vilnius University. He earned his PhD in 2019. His research focuses on developing innovative biosensors for medical diagnostics, ranging from metabolite detection for personalized medicine to electrochemical DNA sensors.

At SensoLife, he leads R&D on point-of-care and home-testing devices, winning two European Space Agency contracts – AminoSpace and MicrobeSpace – to adapt and developed enzyme-based sensing technologies for microgravity applications, with benefits for both space missions and Earth-based healthcare.

He has authored 20 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals, presented at major international conferences, and frequently bridges academia with industry through consulting, product development, and science communication.
