Charlotte Van Velthoven-Geerdink

Charlotte Van Velthoven-Geerdink is the founder of Charly Speaks. She works as a public affairs specialist and professional moderator with sound expertise in European/EU science, research, education, innovation, skills, maritime and (digital) health topics. By coincidence, she started moderating high level events back in 2016 and found out that she loved doing it. Voilà, her own business case was born and now she is a seasoned professional moderator who brings energy and excitement to every stage with expertise, attention to detail, a bit of humour and her ´sharing is caring´ approach. she mainly moderates events in English, but you can also count on her as a moderator in Dutch (she is a Dutch native) or German (she simply loves the language and always used to work in German, too). Her style of moderation can best be described as informal, relaxing, and witty. It is her aim to bring across complex material in an understandable way. Making the speakers, panelists and audience feel at ease is what she always strives for.
