A chance to scale

Life Sciences Baltics is the place where the game-changing startups have a lucky chance to meet, connect and charm investors. If you feel your ideas and solutions need a big audience and a little bit of push to make a global impact, we are here to help. 10 of the most promising startups will be selected by the Life Sciences Baltics panel of investors and given an opportunity to showcase themselves in front of crowd of investors. Applications are open by 20 August 2023.

Main prize

The main startup pitch battle prize is up to 125 000 EUR in investment by the Baltic Sandbox Ventures (BSV), an early-stage VC fund focused on fostering the lifesciences and deeptech ecosystem in the Baltics. The investment comes with an invitation to join a tailor-made acceleration program that will focus on individualized KPIs to help the winning startup advance the commercialization of its technology and expand to international markets. The winner will also receive access to BSV’s international mentor portfolio and join the cohort of other promising science- and engineering-driven startups, unlocking a chance to co-create and exchange experiences with other ambitious peers.

Masterclass

We are inviting HealthTech, MedTech and BioTech start-ups, researchers and students who have scientific or innovative ideas to participate in the masterclass program, organized by the Life Sciences Baltics and Baltic Sandbox Ventures teams. Gain practical knowledge and valuable advice from some of the leading experts in the European life sciences ecosystem. They will advise on topics ranging from developing an intellectual property strategy and refining the value proposition to commercializing innovations and effectively pitching to investors. The two best teams will have the opportunity to present their ideas at the Startup Pitch Battle!
